World Pediatric Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to healing critically ill children and building healthcare capacity in the Caribbean region through its teams of volunteer physicians and world-class operating facility in St. Vincent for specialty surgeries. Through our longstanding partnership with World Pediatric Project, Trinity students have the opportunity to serve supporting roles in surgical cases and participate in care discussions with surgical teams.

Algoma University

Algoma University, established in Sault Ste. Marie in 1965, gained independence in 2008 from its origins as an affiliate college of Laurentian University. Algoma University has a special mission to cultivate cross-cultural learning between Indigenous populations and other communities.  As a teaching-focused university, Algoma provides a range of degrees and certificates spanning the liberal arts, sciences and professional disciplines; including offerings through its Faculty of Cross-Cultural Studies, Schools of Business and Economics, Computer Science and Technology, Life Sciences and the Environment and Social Work. 

American Medical Student Association

AMSA is the oldest and largest independent association of physicians-in-training in the United States. Founded in 1950, AMSA is a student-governed, non-profit organization committed to representing physicians-in-training, advocating for quality and affordable healthcare for all, and building the next generation of physician leaders.

Athabasca University

Athabasca University, Canada’s open university, is dedicated to the removal of barriers that restrict access to and success in university-level study and to increasing equality of educational opportunities for adult learners worldwide.

Central Georgia Technical College

Central Georgia Technical College is dedicated to providing educational, extra-curricular, co-curricular, and workforce development programs and services that support the economic development and well-being of the citizens within its established service delivery area. CGTC employs knowledgeable faculty, modern facilities, and industry-specific equipment to ensure that students, faculty, and staff are surrounded by an environment conducive to learning. Georgia Highlands College

Georgia Highlands College is a multi-campus, state college member of the University System of Georgia. Founded in 1970 as Floyd Junior College, the college now serves thousands of students from over 30 counties in Northwest Georgia. GHC has five sites in Rome, Cartersville, Marietta, and Dallas, as well as a robust online program. GHC offers over 40 areas of study with associate degree and bachelor’s degree options both in the classroom and online. The Government of Saint Vincent
and the Grenadines

Trinity School of Medicine has a long-standing partnership with Milton Cato Memorial Hospital, a publicly-funded 230-bed teaching hospital in St. Vincent. At the hospital and affiliated clinics, Trinity students participate in weekly rotations, staff health fairs, and triage. Milton Cato Memorial Hospital is committed to providing the highest quality hospital services through a team approach while upgrading care continually through various methodologies.

Houston Healthcare

What began as a small community hospital has evolved over the past 50 years into a healthcare system consisting of seven separate entities serving an amazing 300,000 people every year. Such growth and expansion have been driven by one purpose — taking care of the people that call Houston County and surrounding communities home. With two fully accredited acute care medical facilities and a combined capacity of 282 beds, Houston Healthcare is able to offer an array of healthcare services using advanced technology.

Inter American Univerity of Puerto Rico

Medical Association of Georgia

The Medical Association of Georgia (MAG) is the leading advocate for physicians in the state. MAG’s mission is to enhance patient care and the health of the public by advancing the art and science of medicine and by representing physicians and patients in the policy-making process. MAG has more than 8,000 members, including physicians in every specialty and practice setting. 

Medical Reserve Corps

The Medical Association of Georgia (MAG) and the Georgia Department of Public Health (DPH) developed the nation’s first medical society-sponsored statewide volunteer Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) in 2014 as a result of action that MAG’s House of Delegates took in 2013. The MAG MRC responds to declared emergencies in the state, including natural disasters and disease outbreaks. The MAG MRC is prepared to deploy and staff mobile hospitals and support emergency shelters under the direction of DPH.

Rotary Club- SVG

The Rotary Club of St. Vincent is a group of men and women who are joined together by a common interest in service to their own local community and a sincere desire to give back. The group participates in dozens of service projects each year to help people on both a local and international level. Since 1971, The Rotary Club of St. Vincent has built a legacy of community service and leadership locally and worldwide.

South Georgia Technical College

South Georgia State College is a residential state college of the University System of Georgia focused on a core of strong teaching and personalized academic advising. It has a long and distinguished tradition of serving the people of Georgia. Students can pursue associate degrees in 20 different programs of study, which can transfer to other institutions and prepare them for careers in a variety of fields.

Vincentian Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals

The Vincentian Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is a volunteer-run non-profit organization in St. Vincent and the Grenadines working to address rampant dog and cat overpopulation through spay/neuter/wellness clinics, cultivating kindness through humane education programs and responding to cruelty and neglect cases through rescuing and rehabilitation efforts. 

Yellow Ribbon Program

Yellow Ribbon Program

Trinity is proud to participate in the Yellow Ribbon Program, a provision of the Post-9/11 Veterans Educational Assistance Act of 2008. This program allows degree granting institutions of higher learning to voluntarily enter into an agreement with the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs to fund tuition expenses that exceed the annual VA tuition and fees benefit.

 

Trinity has established a Yellow Ribbon Fund and each qualifying student-veteran receives $7,500 per academic year towards the cost of their tuition. The VA will then match this amount for the same period, resulting in a total annual funding of $15,000 in addition to other benefits offered through the Post 911 GI Bill Program.
